The Overall Rating is calculated based on the occurrence and concentration of bromine, chlorine, lead and other chemicals in all vehicle or child car seat components. It indicates the relative level of concern associated with the materials in the product in comparison to all other products tested. The ratings range from 0 to 5, with 0 representing products with the relative lowest concern and 5 the relative highest.
In addition, the vehicles or child car seats of low concern are indicated in green and the vehicles of high concern are indicated in red. All others are of average or medium concern.
